This paper is therefore designed to examine the various <br>challenges facing principals’ administrative behavior in Nigerian secondary <br>schools. The paper focuses on concept of principal administrative behavior, <br>school principals’ tasks in the realization of educational aims, factors <br>hindering principals’ administrative behavior in school administration, <br>relevance of principals’ administrative behavior in school administration. <br>Based on this, it was recommended that conferences, seminars and <br>workshops and other staff development programs should be sponsored by <br>the government to serve as motivational strategies for secondary school <br>principals. Nigeria remains one <br>of the most highly affected countries on the African continent; hence the <br>Nigerian government has emulated other countries in taking measures to <br>curtail the spread of the pandemic. These measures include but are not <br>limited to lockdown orders, due to which individuals stop going to work, as <br>well as the closure of factories and businesses. The lockdown order has been <br>applauded for being effective in curtailing the spread of the virus; however, <br>it is deemed to adversely affect the Nigerian workers in both the public and <br>private sectors. Many authors have contributed to literature related to the <br>COVID-19 pandemic, but there is still a paucity of literature investigating <br>the socio-economic effect of the lockdown order on Nigerian workers. To <br>the best of our knowledge, there is no empirical study that investigates the <br>COVID-19 pandemic and its socio-economic impact on civil servants and <br>bankers. The study adopted a survey research design and primary data <br>gathered through the survey was analyzed. The data collection instrument <br>was a questionnaire, which was filled in online using Google Forms. The <br>collected data was analyzed using Pearson Product Moment Correlation <br>(PPMC) and t-test statistical tools. The findings of the study revealed that <br>COVID-19 has an inverse and minimal effect on the socio-economic <br>condition of public and private sector workers. Furthermore, the competency approach in human resource<br>management (HRM) is not a new trend, and the subject of competence is a very old subject<br>matter. On the contrary, human resource competence is one of the most important issues of any<br>organization, which includes diverse, attractive and, simultaneously, sophisticated topics. Today,<br>due to the dramatic changes in the field of HRM and the trend of managers to meritocracy in the<br>organization, the planning of an organization based on competency has a special place. Different<br>studies in this field show that the necessity to pay attention to the mission perspective, strategy,<br>organizational goals and structure will be an integral part in the successful assignment of human<br>resources and, without regard to this, the organization&amp;#39;s approach cannot be determined. The use<br>of human resource competency models in multiple construction projects requires a major<br>paradigm, which in HRM literature refers to the competency-based human resource management<br>(CBHRM), and changes the thinking of human resource managers across individuals and<br>organizations, generally. This competency-based management approach is a coherent approach<br>for managing human capital in the long term, based on a common set of competency models<br>related to the macro strategies of each project in this field. In this paper, the researcher initially<br>reviewed the diversity of conceptual frameworks and components of competency models in<br>construction projects. Then, the competency models of the project manager, civil engineer, and<br>construction foreman and worker are identified in project-oriented organizations. The deductive approach has been used in this study and <br>profitability used as explained variable. The non-performing loans and <br>capital ratio used as explanatory variables and proxies by seven key ratios.<br>Five years data were used ranges from the year 2010 to 2014.This study <br>used fixed effect model for estimating the regression among variables. The <br>statistical results show that the non-performing loans may increase the <br>profitability of banks in some cases but normally showers the adverse effect <br>on profitability. The outputs of the study suggest that bank should enhance<br>the more loans because it may cause the more profitability instead of <br>thinking about non-performing loans as default loans. Because, nonperforming loans just passes from the stage of performing loans which are <br>the main source of earnings for banks. They should keep an optimistic <br>thought about loans. Researchers of social sciences used different procedures and technology to analyze the hazards, risks and catastrophe between disciplinal.They utilized empirical and evaluative collection of data and itsanalysis techniques. The current study is an overview of present applications of AI being helpful in disaster management throughout its tetrahedral states. AI is important in all states of disaster management as it's a faster solution than other technologies. Integration of two basic supportive tools which are Remote Sensing (RS) and Geographically Information System (GIS) in disaster management provides higher level of planning and its analysis.
