Author Guidelines

Authors’ Guidelines

Before submitting your manuscript, it is important for potential authors to read and follow the guidelines to structure the document below. The main text will be divided into several sections and each section may be further divided into several divisions and sub-divisions. The contents of the sections are only indicative.

Title  

The title must be written in 14 font size at the start of the manuscript

Center alignment and Bold

If your title is long, this running head title should be a shortened version of the title of your entire paper.

Format        

Article content should be written in Times New Roman, 12 format

An article must be provided in word format (Docx)

Double spacing with normal 1-inch margin throughout the document.

Section heading should start on a new page

Heading and subheading should be numbered. e.g. 1, 1.1, 1.1.1.

Material and Method, 3. Conclusion

Use white 8 ½  x 11” paper

The first word in every paragraph should be indented one half inch

Tables and figures in a Section should be placed in the immediate vicinity of the reference where they are cited.

Length Articles should be between 5000 to 8000 words, including figures, references and tables.

An abstract must not exceed 300 words with 4 to 6 keywords or descriptive phrases

Page Number      

All pages should be numbered at right bottom of page.

To create the running head/page header, insert page numbers justified to the right-hand side of the paper (do not put p. or pg. in front of page numbers)

Author’s Information  

Articles must have author’(s) name, affiliation and email address provided in separate document

All authors that have made a significant contribution to the paper are listed in sequence. The corresponding author must be clearly mentioned with steric*

All authors must have to fill a consent form that their manuscripts are comprised of original work; plagiarism duplication, fabrication, and redundant publication are prohibited

Article Processing Fee   

The journal does not charge any article processing charge or article submission fees for any submissions.

Abstract

All submissions must include a structured abstract, following the format outlined below. It must always be included:

Findings

Theoretical/ Practical implications

An abstract must not exceed 300 words with 4 to 6 keywords or descriptive phrases

Originality of Manuscript

Plagiarism is theft of others' published and unpublished ideas or other intellectual property without their consent, or presenting them as innovative work rather than derived from an existing source. JARMS seriously takes issues of copyright infringement, plagiarism or other breaches in publication. Equally, the Editorial Board aims to protect the reputation of the journal against malpractice.

The papers submitted to JARMS are being processed in Plagiarism Detection Software using Turnitin with an allowable similarity index of less than 19%.

Appendices

Appendices are provided to give supplementary information, which is included in the main text may serve as a distraction and cloud the central theme under discussion.

Appendices should be numbered using Arabic numerals, e.g. Appendix 1, Appendix 2, etc.

Appendices, Tables, and references appearing in appendices should be numbered and referred to at appropriate places just as in the case of Sections.

Appendices shall carry the title of the work reported and the same title shall be made in the contents page also.

List of References

Any work of other researchers, if used either directly or indirectly, the origin of the material thus referred to at appropriate places in thesis report should be indicated.

Follow APA 7th  Style for references.
