We are pleased to introduce the University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore as a premier institution of higher learning in the country. As a project of ILM trust, UMT is focused on producing quality research aimed to strengthen the knowledge base through indigenous research. Its success in doing so can be gauged by the fact that it has been named among the top 500 universities in QS Asia University Rankings 2021.
Being a top research university of Pakistan, UMT is investing significantly in publishing and disseminating quality research. Currently, the university is publishing around thirty research journals, which is the highest number of journals published by any university in the country. We are honored to present you our journals for the subscription.

Our journals cover a variety of disciplines and are intended for students and practitioners alike. All journals are published keeping in view the international standards of publishing and following the guidelines set by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. The journals are enlisted in renowned international indexing and abstracting agencies (details can be viewed at our website (https://journals.umt.edu.pk). We have the membership of COPE, Crossref, and DOAJ. All journals are Gold Open access having the license of Creative Commons CC BY 4.0. Printing quality and format of articles also depict our quality. All journals are double-blind and peer-reviewed.

UMT Claims the Top Position with the Highest Number of HEC Recognized Journals among the Private Sector Universities of Pakistan

University of Management and Technology (UMT) prides itself for being an excellent and innovative platform for quality publications, in line with the vision of its (late) founder Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad. Currently, UMT is set to become the publisher of the highest number of open-access research journals among the private sector universities of Pakistan. These journals include nine HEC recognized journals (four more are currently under evaluation in the second phase) in various fields such as sciences, management, social sciences and humanities. The journals are managed by a dedicated research support team that provides the required technical support. It manages the peer-review process as well as the copy editing process and also ensures the listing of the journals with renowned data bases. The research support team is guided by highly competent editors and chief editors, selected on merit from within and outside UMT. UMT journals comply with the international standards and technicalities of journal publication to maintain the integrity and quality of the papers published as well as the transparency of the publishing process.

We dedicate this achievement to (late) Dr. Hasan Sohaib Murad who is the real inspiration behind our success. We would also like to express our gratitude to Mr. Ibrahim Hasan Murad (President UMT) who remains our principal motivator to achieve this target.
