Abstract Views: 29Islam has given due importance to human needs (both physical and mental). In order to save human life, holy Scripture offers numerous ways to treat illnesses. Moreover, Islam has also identified the factors that affect human health; and explain ways to mitigate these effects though prophetic teachings on treating physical illness. Thus, our religion encourages us to utilizing all possible resources in order to cure illness and save human life. In addition, mental health is equally important to create a healthy society. The hustle and bustle of life traps human minds in dark thoughts and gruesome worries. Therefore, entangling them in psychological matters by suppressing their creative and mental abilities. The aim of this article is to highlight how religious and medical directions can help humanity (children in particular); and can provide a guarantee of a contented and peaceful life.
