Chief Editor’s Message

Mujalla Islami Fikr-o-Tahzeeb (MIFT) is a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, and trilingual academic journal (Urdu, Arabic, and English) published by the Department of Islamic Thought and Civilization, University of Management and Technology (UMT), Lahore, Pakistan.

Launched in 2021, the journal was established in response to the growing need for scholarly research that addresses contemporary intellectual, cultural, and societal challenges through the universal and rational lens of Islamic thought and civilization. The vision is to bridge classical Islamic scholarship with present-day issues and promote critical, solution-oriented discourse.

MIFT provides a credible academic platform for original research in the fields of Islamic philosophy, civilization, ethics, sociology, governance, and allied disciplines. All articles submitted to the journal undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality, integrity, and relevance.

The journal adopts an open-access policy, promoting the free and unrestricted dissemination of knowledge to a global audience. It is officially recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan in the Y Category, reflecting its commitment to scholarly excellence and impactful research.
