Policy to Control Plagiarism

UMT Education Review (UER) is an open-access, double-blind peer reviewed international journal published biannually by the Department of Education of the University of Management and Technology. UER strictly follows the anti-plagiarism policy of HEC. Plagiarism shall not cross the set limit of 10% in any of the articles accepted for UER. We use Turnitin for plagiarism check. All articles are sent to library for an autonomous 3rd party check for plagiarism. Plagiarism will be checked twice: first, at receiving the article and second before giving the article's formal acceptance.

Following the HEC policy, the author(s) must not use the words, figures, or ideas of others without mentioning the original source. Each article is thoroughly checked that the appropriate citations are provided, and a reference list is furnished at the end. The submitting author is bound to declare the originality of his/her work. If plagiarism is detected after publication, the publisher has the right to issue a correction or retract the paper.
